📖 Table of Contents
The Workflow sessions list shows the progress of every session at a glance. Statuses and icons indicate whether a session is moving forward, awaiting action, completed, or blocked. This guide explains where statuses appear and what each status means for verification and signature steps.

Prerequisites
You need access to the Workflows module in your workspace.
If you don’t see Workflows, contact your workspace admin.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1) Open your Workflow sessions
In the app, go to Workflows.
Open the Sessions list.
Locate your session in the table.
The Status column shows the overall session status.
The session status reflects the combined state of all action groups.
2) Read the Workflow session status
The session status summarizes the state of all action groups:
Awaiting: All action groups are awaiting.
Ongoing: At least one action group has started, none are blocked.
Blocked: At least one action group is blocked.
Done: All action groups are completed.
Tips:
If any action group is blocked, the session shows Blocked.
If some groups are done and others are in progress, the session shows Ongoing.
3) Check Verification action group status
Verification action groups use icons to show progress:
Awaiting (no icon): No verification actions yet.
Ongoing (⏳): At least one verification is in progress or pending.
Blocked (❌): At least one verification failed or is inconclusive.
Done (✅): All verifications completed successfully.
How to read it: Hover over the icon to see the status text. If ❌ Blocked, open the session to review the verification details.
4) Check Signature action group status
Signature action groups show both icon and text:
⏳ Not signed yet: At least one signature request is in progress (created, awaiting approval, or being signed).
❌ Blocked: At least one signature request is expired, canceled, rejected, or declined.
✅ Signed: All required signatures are completed.
How to read it: Hover over the icon to confirm the label. Click into the session for signer-level details if needed.
5) Use hover tooltips for quick clarification
Move your cursor over a status icon to display the status name (Ongoing, Blocked, Signed).
For Verification action groups, the tooltip shows only the status, not the failure reason. Open the session to see full details if necessary.
FAQ
Why is my Workflow session “Blocked”?
At least one action group is blocked. Open the session, review the action group showing ❌ Blocked, and see where the problem happened with the detailed reason.
What does “Awaiting” mean for a Verification action group?
The group has no verification actions yet. Add or start verifications to move the status forward.
What does “Not signed yet” mean for a Signature action group?
One or more signature requests in the group are still in progress (created, awaiting approval, or being signed). Once all required signatures are completed, the status changes to ✅ Signed.
Can I see the reason for a failed verification from the icon or tooltip?
No. The hover tooltip shows only the status (for example, Blocked). Open the session to see verification details and next steps.
How are mixed states handled inside an action group?
Verification: Any failed verification → ❌ Blocked; no failures but at least one in progress → ⏳ Ongoing; all completed → ✅ Done.
Signature: Any signature in progress → ⏳ Not signed yet; any signature expired, canceled, rejected, or declined → ❌ Blocked; all completed → ✅ Signed.
