What is the Qualified Electronic Signature?
The Qualified Electronic Signature is the third and highest level of electronic signature, as defined by the European eIDAS regulation.
It requires a video verification of the signers' identity, adding an additional level of security to your signatures.
The verification process consists of two parts:
Identity card verification through video
Facial verification through video

Note: Once the identity verification is validated, your signers can save their identity to reuse it for signing the next qualified signature up to 10 times faster.
When to use the Qualified Electronic Signature?
The Yousign Qualified Electronic Signature provides maximum security with facial verification in addition to the verification of the signer's identity.
It is therefore necessary for documents with legal requirements and a high liability risk. For example, the following French documents require this level of signature:
Remote notarial authentic deeds
Responses to public tenders
Company modification and cessation of activity files
Documents related to identification, identity verification, and customer knowledge (KYC document)
The Qualified Electronic Signature can also be used to secure documents with a high liability risk.
How to add the Qualified Electronic Signature to your Yousign subscription?
Qualified Electronic Signature is available as an add-on module on annual subscriptions to Plus, Pro and Scale plans (and concerns the Yousign application and API).

For Occasional Needs:
Subscribe to a monthly Plus or Pro plan from the Subscription page.
Once your plan is activated (immediately after providing your billing information), go to the dedicated QES page.
Click on "Add QES add-on".
Enter the number of QES you need (from 1 to 9) at 15€/unit.
Confirm your choice.
Your QES will be immediately available on your subscription. Follow our dedicated guide to send your first QES signature request.
These QES credits will be valid for 3 months after purchase. You can repurchase QES credits if needed. This offer is only available with an active monthly subscription to our Plus or Pro plan.
While using the Qualified Electronic Signature (QES), your signers are entitled to 3 identification attempts for each QES credit in self-serve.
Unused QES attempts do not get carried forward to another QES credit.
For Recurring Needs:
Subscribe to a annual Plus or Pro plan from the Subscription page.
Once your plan is activated (immediately after providing your billing information), go to the dedicated QES page.
Click on "Add QES add-on".
Click on "Subscribe"
Enter the number of QES you need (starting from 10 units package) at 10€/unit.
Click on "Go to the summary".
Review your purchase.
Click on "Proceed to checkout"
Click on "Confirm my purchase"
Your QES will be immediately available on your subscription. Follow our dedicated guide to send your first QES signature request.
This recurring QES package will be available until your next renewal date. You can repurchase the QES package if needed. This offer is only available with an active annual subscription to our Plus or Pro plan.
