Set your field settings
You can set specific field settings directly on your account settings.
You can add custom mentions.
Choose a default mention.
These settings are applied only to your account, and not to your organization's account.
Add custom mentions
Yousign already set five mention suggestions, but you may need to add custom ones. To do so:
Click on your initials at the bottom left of the page.
Click on "Signature settings".
Go to the "field settings" section.
Click on "Manage mentions"
Click on "add a custom mention".
Write your custom mention (if needed, specify #date or #datetime to include the date or the date and time of signature into the mention).
Click on "add".
You can add up to 20 custom mentions, and edit them whenever you need.
Custom mentions must be between 3 and 160 characters.
You can only edit custom mentions (it's not possible to edit Yousign suggestions).
Set a default mention
By setting a default mention, the mention field will be preselected with it on your signature requests, templates, and forms.
To set a default mention:
Click on your initials at the bottom left of the page.
Click on "Signature settings".
Go to the "field settings" section.
Click on "Manage mentions"
Click on the "..." at the right side of the mention you want to set as the default.
Click on "Set as default".
You can unset the default option of a mention at any moment.
